Extended Family Photographer in OKC

Bring everyone together. Grandparents, cousins, the whole crew. We help you get portraits that document this chapter of your family without you doing all the corralling alone.

What to Expect at Your Extended Family Session

Large groups need a plan. Before session day we map out combinations: full group, each nuclear family, siblings, grandkids with grandparents, and any special pairings you want saved.

Sessions run longer than standard family portraits, usually 90 minutes to two hours. We keep a clear flow so no one stands around wondering what happens next. Locations have space to spread out and shade for elders and little ones.

True-to-color editing keeps everyone looking natural across a wide range of skin tones and ages. You receive a gallery organized for easy sharing with relatives near and far.

Common Questions

How big a group can you handle?

Multi-generation reunions are the point of this session. Tell us the headcount when you inquire — we plan combinations before anyone arrives and confirm coverage limits for your group. Larger groups may need a second shooter or a split timeline.

How do you keep twenty people from standing around?

We map the shot list before session day: full group, each nuclear family, siblings, grandkids with grandparents, then any custom pairs. On site, one organizer (you or us) calls names while we shoot. Groups that wing it waste the best light on logistics.

What if someone is late or a toddler melts down?

Full group first while most of the crew is fresh — late arrivals get folded into a second full-group pass if the light still works, or into their nuclear-family set. Meltdowns get a five-minute break and a pivot to smaller combos; we do not hold thirty people hostage for one refusal.

Where should we meet?

Outdoor venues with space and shade — elders and little ones both need somewhere to sit between setups. We avoid narrow sidewalks and loud playgrounds at peak hour. You suggest a place; we confirm whether it photographs.

How long does the gallery take?

Edited galleries for extended family sessions typically arrive within 3 to 4 weeks. Larger groups mean more combinations to cull and color-match across ages and skin tones — that work is deliberate, not delayed.
